Dumfries and Galloway

Tucked away in the extreme South West of Scotland Dumfries and Galloway is a beautiful and peaceful part of the country. it is great farming country and the birthplace of Galloway cattle and of teh Belted Galloway it is also the place where christianity was brought to the Scottish mainland and some claim that this was prior to Columba’s arrival at Iona.
